The Washington DC sales recruiters at KAS are currently working with a national firm to grow their Outside B2B Sales team based from a Northern VA city in the DC metro area.

The hiring firm sells software and related solutions to mid- and enterprise-size business of all types, with an emphasis on reliability and ease of use for their software products.  Typical points of contact include Head of HR, CFO, or for mid-size firms CEO/President and similar.

About the Washington DC Outside Sales Position

Our sales headhunters are searching for sales reps to take charge of identifying, winning, and growing new business within the DC Metro territory, concentrated in Northern VA.  Based from the VA office, any travel is local and typically within a one-hour radius of DC.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years Outside Sales experience, or 1-3 years Inside Sales experience with a laser focus on growing to Outside Sales
  • Minimum cumulative 2.7 GPA, completed Bachelor’s degree
  • Provable sales success (via rankings, pictures of awards, track record of sales contests won; or from smaller companies the ability to show increased commission over time)
  • Excellent job stability: must show history with prior employers averaging 18 months
  • Energetic, collaborative, ambitious.  Most Outside Sales Reps move into an Executive Sales role within a year and a half, and the DC sales recruitment goals for this position are to continue that successful trend.

 

This is an excellent Outside Sales Rep position for an entry-to-mid-level sales executive who thrives on winning new business and growing high-level client relationships.
