KAS Placement, LLC (“KAS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides recruiting and placement services for positions located in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information relating to candidates, clients, and visitors to kasplacement.com.

Information We Collect

When you submit your information to KAS, you may submit details such as your name, email, phone number, resume, job history, education, references, LinkedIn profile, compensation expectations, job preferences, company name, company contact details, hiring needs, or other personal or professional information relevant to the recruiting process.

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring pages, and interactions with the website. We use this information to operate, secure, analyze, and improve our website and services.

Information Obtained from Other Sources

In addition to information you provide directly, KAS may obtain professional, employment, and contact information from other lawful sources commonly used in recruiting. This may include information concerning your employment history, professional qualifications, skills, experience, and publicly available professional presence. We use this information to identify potentially relevant employment opportunities, evaluate possible matches, and communicate with candidates and clients as described in this Privacy Policy.

Additional Recruiting Information

Depending on the circumstances of a potential placement, KAS may collect additional information relevant to the recruiting process, such as compensation expectations, professional references, work authorization status, and information needed to accommodate a candidate during the recruiting or interview process. We use this information only for legitimate recruiting, placement, legal, or administrative purposes.

If a position requires a background check or similar screening and the client requests that KAS conduct this process, the candidate will receive any disclosures and authorization forms required by applicable law before the screening is conducted. Background checks may be performed by an authorized third-party provider.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical records, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information through our general website forms unless KAS specifically requests the information through an appropriate and secure process.

How We Use Your Information

KAS may use personal information to:

  • Identify and evaluate candidates for current and future employment opportunities;
  • Match candidates with potentially relevant positions;
  • Communicate with candidates and clients;
  • Maintain our general candidate network;
  • Understand client hiring needs and provide recruiting and placement services;
  • Operate, analyze, secure, and improve our website and services;
  • Maintain business and recruiting records;
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, or other unlawful activity; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the rights of others.

How We Disclose Your Information

KAS may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Prospective employers and clients: We may provide candidate information to prospective employers or clients with the candidate’s consent or authorization.
  • Candidates: We may provide candidates with information concerning clients and employment opportunities when relevant to the recruiting process.
  • Service providers: We may provide information to companies that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, communications, applicant tracking, data storage, analytics, or background-screening services.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device that allows a website to recognize your browser and remember certain information.

We use these technologies in two categories:

Strictly necessary. These are required for the website to function — maintaining your session, enabling forms and site search, protecting against spam and abuse, and remembering your cookie preferences. These cannot be switched off through our consent tool because the site will not work properly without them.

Analytics. These help us understand how visitors find and use our website, which pages are viewed, and where visitors encounter difficulty. We use this to improve the site. Analytics cookies are only set after you consent to them.

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. We do not run advertising campaigns that track visitors across other websites, and we do not use website analytics data to build advertising audiences.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how our website is used. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and how you interact with it. This information is processed by Google on our behalf.

We have configured Google Analytics to limit data collection: Google Signals is disabled, meaning we do not associate website activity with signed-in Google account holders’ cross-device data, and we do not use Analytics data for advertising personalization.

You can learn how Google handles data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on any website by installing Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Your Cookie Choices

When you first visit our website, a consent banner allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Analytics cookies are not set unless you accept them.

You can change your choice at any time by [returning to the cookie preferences link in our website footer / clicking the cookie settings icon]. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of our website from working.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information as those terms are defined under applicable law.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Some pages on our website include embedded content, such as videos hosted on YouTube. These embedded services may set their own cookies and collect information about your interaction with that content, in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control this collection. YouTube is operated by Google LLC; its privacy practices are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Data Retention

We generally retain candidate and client information for as long as it may be relevant to our recruiting and placement services, including consideration for future employment opportunities, unless you request that we delete it. We may retain certain information for a longer period when reasonably necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or misuse, enforce agreements, or establish or defend legal claims.

Your Choices and Requests

You may contact KAS to request that we update, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, or to ask us to stop contacting you regarding employment opportunities. To submit a request, email [email protected]. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before completing a request.

Information Security

KAS maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction. These safeguards are selected based on the nature of the information and the risks associated with its processing.

However, no method of transmitting information over the internet or storing information electronically is completely secure. Accordingly, while KAS works to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
