KAS Placement is recruiting a Sales VP for an education tech firm. This person can either work from the Los Angeles office or remotely.

About

Our client is an education tech firm offering interactive science and technology programs for K-12 students.

To stay competitive in technology, programming is becoming more prominent in the K-12 classroom.  To meet growing demands, their hybrid learning solutions focus on a blend of computer programming, coding, robotics, various STEM subjects, and game development.

With an adoptable education platform for each learner, they make seemingly daunting subjects interesting and approachable.  Right now, over 40 U.S. school districts utilize their education platform.

To build upon this success, they want someone to lead a current sales team to further increase market share.  Additionally, this person will be focused on driving enrollment with school districts and partnerships with educational organizations.

Job Duties:

  • Lead a sales team driving the sales messaging, positioning and strategy for all selling initiatives
  • Develop compelling, evergreen content to assist with education tech marketing material
  • Coach sales development representatives to create a strategic business development plan within assigned territory.
  • Refine client training for net new K-12 end users and contract vehicles.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to K-12 educational institutions assisting them in learning the benefits, implementation and use cases.
  • Hunt for new education accounts, as well as develop and maintain business within existing accounts.
  • Manage complex sales cycles with initiative and a relationship-first perspective.
  • Attend education tech conferences and networking events seeking partnership opportunities
  • Work with the marketing team to plan customer events, branding strategies, and lead generation campaigns.
  • Track performance metrics, generate reports and forecasts, and present insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business, science or engineering preferred
  • Exposure in managing B2C/B2B institutional or corporate sales in either Education or corporate training is a must.
  • Proven experience in building and managing high performing sales teams.
  • Effective being hands-on with individual projects and proven track record to lead multiple priorities simultaneously
