Right now, the hiring company is expanding their U.S. national accounts team and recruiting a New York Strategic Account Executive with strong VAR/channel sales experience.
Job Summary
We’re recruiting an accomplished New York Strategic Account Executive with experience engaging and managing high-value clients. This role requires a disciplined new business hunter with the sophistication to manage complex, multi-product sales cycles within the IT channel ecosystem.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT sales, VAR/channel sales of enterprise IT products and a track record of exceeding quota.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a national territory strategy to achieve annual revenue targets
- Drive net new logo acquisition while expanding revenue within existing accounts
- Position and sell the company’s IT portfolio
- Leverage OEM and distributor relationships to structure competitive, profitable deals
- Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles (IT, finance, executive leadership)
- Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to deliver accurate solution scoping
- Maintain disciplined CRM reporting, pipeline management and forecasting accuracy
Minimum Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of VAR/channel sales experience selling enterprise IT products
- Proven quota attainment history in a VAR or channel sales environment
- Strong relationships with OEMs and distributors such as Dell, HPE, Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft or Broadcom
- Experience managing enterprise accounts
- Strong financial and margin discipline
- Excellent executive-level communication and negotiation skills
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university
- Ability to travel
Compensation
Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $115,000, depending on experience and performance as a New York Strategic Account Manager.
