Without good content, a consumer goods company can’t grow. Therefore, our marketing recruiting team has been retained by a growing wearable smart technology firm. Their specific industry would be labeled in the health and wellness space.
Currently, their wearable product lines are gaining market share. Mainly, the growth is fueled by health-conscious consumers looking to optimize their sleep, recovery, and well-being. As they launch new product lines and expand their user base for current products, they’re investing heavily in their content strategy.
To do so, they’ve asked our marketing headhutners to begin recruiting a Content Marketing Manager.
Job Details and Location Overview
The Content Marketing Manager’s overall responsibility rests in enhancing the brand’s presence across new and existing verticals. Moreover, designing content for paid advertising, web, email campaigns, and social media will prove key.
Specifically, our marketing headhunters are recruiting someone who can translate health and biometric concepts into simple, compelling narratives. The ideal candidate brings a content marketing background, can appeal to digital audiences.
Also, exposure to wellness, wearable technology, or consumer products is preferable. Though, it’s not a deal-breaker. Moreover, critical thinking and a collaborative, proactive approach are essential.
The open content marketing job is remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Western U.S.
Responsbilities
- Create digital content with a persuasive and informative tone, style, and branding
- Collaborate with insights and sales teams to develop content for key buyer personas
- Build brand awareness and drive growth through a captivating and predictable content strategy
- Own brand channels, including advertising, social media, email, and webinars
- Oversee a team of writers delivering content across paid and owned platforms for wearable technology offerings
- Mentor writers with clear feedback and support
- Stay updated on trends in health communication, content strategy, and email marketing
- Work with analytics to track KPIs and campaign performance
- Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing priorities, product launches, and seasonal trends
- Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, AI accessibility, and platform-specific best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years in content marketing, inbound, or communications; ideally in healthcare, wellness, or lifestyle
- Proven ability to create content that drives engagement and conversion
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to execute on tight deadlines with a flair for creativity and a passion for wearable technology
