Our firm is a leading IT Consulting, IT Services & Solutions Firm, looking to bring on a new Senior Business Development Manager to expand our already extensive business. The Business Development Manager will have proven experience selling IT Consulting, Services & Solutions within the Banking, Healthcare and Manufacturing industries.
The Senior Business Development Manager will be based in the NY/NJ/PA region.
REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILITIES
· Experience in building relationships & sales in large & medium scale, end to end, enterprise solutions.
· Ability to identify, develop, and qualify opportunities in the domain area of focus
· Account management, maintain profitability and customer satisfaction.
· Identification of new business opportunities within customer organization.
· Familiar with techniques to improve customer engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies for clients.
· Pre-sales support (assess customer requirements, make presentations/proposals, identify potential projects)
· Dedicated to service and grow the relationship with a customer.
· On a daily basis, the candidate will
· Screen/validate and select which RFI/RFQ/RFP to pursue
· Manage the proposal development and writing process working with a technical delivery team
· Create and develop winning proposals in highly competitive markets
· Manage the interview/demonstration process effectively
· Coordinate scope and pricing for proposals including managing risk
· Participate in the contract review process
Desired Background
EXPERIENCE
· 10+ Years, strong track record of professional success is necessary, preferably in a medium or large, global IT consulting, IT services & solutions area.
· Experience in developing new business relations & close sales in shorter sales cycle.
· Significant experience in the Banking, Healthcare and Manufacturing industry vertical is required
· Strategic thinking capacity to analyze and identify market trends.
· Expert consulting skills to provide the right solutions to meet client needs.
· Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships at all levels within client organizations
· Experience selling an offshore or Global delivery model (GDM)
· Knowledgeable in Project management, IT systems and methodologies.
· Candidates should possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Time management skills are a must, as well as the ability to be flexible and creative.
The base salary is approximately $90K, depending on experience. Excellent commission structure and benefits package put the total compensation at well over $150K+.
