Three effective elements to add to your sales resume when applying to a higher position
- Numbers – these days, showing your revenue numbers on your sales resume is nearly imperative. Generating a good amount of net dollars for your past employers alludes to the fact that you can succeed in numerous, diverse environments. On paper, this undoubtedly makes you a more desirable candidate.
- Past Employer Descriptions – unless you worked for Merrill Lynch or France Telecom, most employers are not going to know what business your past employer was in. You should always include a description stating your target market, the product you sold and any awards you may have won. Remember, keep the depiction informative, but also brief and to the point.
- Format – Typically, we receive roughly 30 new resumes every day. Obviously, to go through them all would be a very lengthy, arduous process. Therefore we must taper the number down to the resumes with good formats and highlighted content. Please read below and we’d be happy to access your resume. Alison’s grammar, content flow and concise writing style will ensure that your submission stands out and, that it gets reviewed by each hiring manager. Ken Sundheim, a seasoned recruiter who has placed sales representatives in nearly every industry, runs KAS Placement and comes from a multi-faceted sales background. On a daily basis, Ken usually reviews up to 100 sales resumes and understands the small nuances that could either make or break a CV.
We have roughly over 35 formats to choose from spanning over 75 industries. Whether you are in telecommunications, finance, insurance, textiles or just about any other sales vertical, we can help you. Additionally, all of our clients are given inside advice about how and where to find the right jobs. If, at any future point, you were to be placed by KAS, the $199 fee would immediately be refunded.
Technically, our process is seamless. We show you as many resume formats as it takes until you find the format you wish to work with. This is done via a Web-Ex presentation; there is no need to travel or meet after a long day at work. However, if desired, in-person meetings can also be scheduled. Following this step, one of our in-house recruiters will go over your past job experiences and make the resume 100% applicable to your career goals.
Due to the resources we have available, our fees are roughly 33% under market rate. All resumes include a $199 charge and satisfaction is guaranteed.
